Booth Rates is a directory of home show booth prices for contractors. The brand is general so later editions can add bridal shows and boat and RV shows. This edition is home shows only. The phrase to search for is home show booth prices. The site address is https://boothrates.com.

What is stored

Dates, venues, prices by size, dollars per square foot, required and optional fees, deadlines typed as booth, services, hotel, or program, sold-out notes, and a source URL plus a checked date for each field. Price history keeps earlier readings when a number moves. Page text, PDFs, and named sales reps’ direct emails and phone numbers are not stored.

What the collector will and will not do

It identifies as BoothRatesBot, reads robots.txt, and waits out a crawl delay. Marketplace Events shares the same five paths on every show site. Nationwide Expos prices, when the storefront is readable, come from the product’s size variants. Independent sites are found from a sitemap and exhibitor pages. A bot challenge stops that host. The challenge is not solved and not bypassed. Seattle Home Show is excluded because its robots.txt disallows a named list of AI crawlers.

An optional flag, BOOTH_RATES_LLM=1, does not call a model. Parsing is deterministic.

54 shows. Checked date on the catalog: 2026-10-20. 4 still show a prior-year rate sheet.9 are manual or producer-submitted because automation is blocked or refused. Hand-checked records stay locked when a later fetch disagrees; the disagreement goes to the review queue instead of overwriting the researched price.
